Janice Ann Muter, age 67 of New Albany, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Janice was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky, daughter of the late Henlin and Ethel Lane. Also preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Detrick.
Following school, Janice met and married the love of her life, William, 49 ½ years ago, December 29, 1960, and the two of them began their lives together. Throughout Janice’s life, she was always very proud and very passionate of being a wife, mother, and grandmother. Time spent with family was her most special time of all. Janice also enjoyed antique collecting and attending auctions with her many friends.
She will be missed by her loving husband, William; sons, John, Mark (Lynn), and Brad; grandchildren, Shelby, John Jr., Jeffery, Luke, and Ellie; step-grandsons, Cameron and Connor; brothers, Raymond (Joni), Samuel (Patricia), David (Bonnie), Ted (Carla), and Bruce Lane; sisters, Charlotte (Alan) Baker and Patricia Davis; and many other extended family members and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, July 2, 2010 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., where family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Thursday. Interment Maplewood Cemetery.
