"Ashley Andrew Brandon, 93, 219 W. Fulton St., Celina, died at 4 a.m. today at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys

He was born Aug. 8, 1901, in Jefferson Township to Gard and Estella [Andrew] Brandon. On Aug. 11, 1939, he married Margaret Holdren, who died Jan. 12, 1982

Deceased is a brother, Myron.

Mr. Brandon was a retired math teacher, school administrator and farmer. he was a 1919 graduate of the former Washington Township High School and later served as principal teacher there, and was a 1925 graduate of Ohio State University, Columbus. He also taught at schools in Celina, Greenville, Fort Recovery and Piqua. he was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church and Mercer County Retired Teachers Assn., both Celiina.

Services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at W.H. Dick & Sons Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. H. Douglas Shriner officiating. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.

Calling hours are 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
