Iris M. White

Iris M. White, 85, 237 Jill Ave., Celina, died at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday at Celina Manor.

She was born July 3, 1907, in Granville, to Wilson and Lida [Mulloy] Holmes. On July 3, 1935, she married William G. White, who died Oct 8, 1976.

Survivors include a son and his wife Robert and Linda White, Celina; a daughter and her husband, Nancy and John Holden, Louisville, Ky; and four grandchildren.

A sister preceded her in death.

Mrs. White was a retired secretary for Celina High School. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the History and University Women's Clubs, all of Celina.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Lehman Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Stephen Merold officiating. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Granville.

Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
