"Connie K. Smelser Rohyans Shaw, 62, died Tuesday July 27, 2004, at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born in Celina, Ohio she was a Claims Processor with Lincoln Life Insurance Co. for 10 years. She enjoyed crafts, sewing and helping people. Survivors include husband, Perry W. Shaw Sr. of Craigsville, W.Va.; first husband, David D. Rohyans of Fort Wayne; sons, Paul D. Rohyans of Marysville, Ohio; Mark D. Rohyans of fort Wayne; daughter, Christine A. Myers of Fort Wayne; brothers, Tim Smelser of Charleston, S.C., Steve Smelser of Winchester, Larry Smelser of Celina, Ohio; sister Susan Hoenie of Celina, Ohio; mother, Ruth E. Runyan-Smelser of Celina, Ohio; and three grandchildren, Nathan Rohyans, Natalie Rohyans and Chase Myers. Service is 10 a.m. Saturday at D. O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Ave. Calling is from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial in Lindensood Cemetery, Memorials to National Multiple Sclerosis Society."
