
Mary Lee Weitz Bollenbacher

Mary Lee's obituary was published in The Daily Standard on Saturday Evening, June 22, 1996 as follows:
"Mary Lee Bollenbacher, 55, 9861 Ohio 49, Rockford, died Friday afternoon at 4:10 p.m. at Community Hospital, Coldwater, as the result of injuries sustained in an auto accident earlier that afternoon. She was born May 25, 1941, in Celina, to Paul and Velma [Beldon] White. On Oct. 2, 1960, she married Paul Bollenbacher who survives.
Other survivors are two sons and their wives, Todd and Cindy, Rockford, and Mark and Jill, Decatur, Ind.; another son, Mike, Rockford; one daughter and her husband, Jill and Randy Thomas, Celina; one brother, Donald Weitz, Macon, Ga.; three sisters, Jane Young, Dade City, Fla., Judy Horne, Celina, and Susan Smalley, Rockford; a mother-in-law, Esta Bollenbacher, Rockford; and seven grandchildren. Deceased is one grandson.
She was a school bus driver for Parkway Local Schools for 23 years. She had served as bus coordinator and a teacher's aide. She was a 1959 graduate of Celina High School and a graduate of Warner Beauty College, Lima.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Rockford. She was also a member of the Women's Fellowship of the church and served as a yourth advisor.
Memorial services are a 2 p.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. John Fleming officiating. Calling is 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at W.H. Dick & Sons Funeral Home, Celina, from 1-2 p.m. Monday at the church."
