I received word from Linda Brumfield last week of the passing of her husband Hank Schmidt.

He passed away in LaQuinta, California, on the 25th of August. The memorial service is planned for a future date in Seattle where his children live and he will be buried in a Military Cemetery near Seattle. There is no obituary to share at this time.
